One of the benifits of being a nurse, is we have this thing refered to as "call" Sometimes, when the unit is slow, we end up having a nurse too many for the patient load.  This seems to especially be the case in my unit, Intneisve Care, where everything happens in a flash.  We might need 9 nurses one night, and only 7 the next.  Well, tonight, its my turn to be on call.  So if the situation changes, I go in to work....if not, I get a free night off :)

So, I decided for my extra night off, I decided to work on a little project.  My sister gave me a journal for Christmas, I am makeing it my "book" for 2012.  To keep notes, thoughts, and information in for the year. 

I titled the book, and of course, added my favorite Coco Chanel quote to the cover.

"In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different"

After that, I looked up inspirational quotes that I loved, and added them to random pages in the book.  So as I work my way threw it, I can have added bits of inspiration and motivation.

Now...to try and keep up the idea of using it.... :)
